As a result of a desire to cut development costs within an environment of increased product expectations and Electro-Mechanical complexities, they now strive a Technically adept agent of change to champion LEAN principles for R&D processes across the electro-mechanical design teams globally. As such, you will radically improve NPI/ R&D and product launch efficiencies of key mechanically integrated electrical /electronic components.
With a product portfolio that is highly focused towards the motor controller, actuator, inverter, converter, and PCB arena this role will major on improving development cycle efficiencies that result in cutting edge products that meet the required specification on time and within budget. In addition, you will be a keen advocate of DFMEA and liaise with quality teams to ensure products developed are aligned to APQP requirements and meet PPAP/ DFM objectives for production on sites across the globe.
You will identify and eliminate waste in the product development process. Transform, impact, and lead fundamental engineering change. As Lean Engineering Operational Excellence Leader you will drive change by:
• Create/manage/priorities high-impact improvement areas, with a focus on Breakthrough Productivity and transformation initiatives
• Forecast improvement results for quarterly, structured requirements analysis planning, and align priorities/planning/commitment to the necessary workstreams with the engineering leadership.
• Establish Operating Reviews on KPI’s/metrics to identify critical areas of opportunity, track specific improvements against targets, and ensure improvements are sustained.

A Transformation expert – you will possess a strong- engineering development/design background and have become an evangelical agent of change who is passionate about engineering efficiencies, LEAN principles and as such is now a respected Process Excellence Leader.
With a Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering and / or experience within the Electronic Component (Motors, Inverters, PCBs) NPI arena, you will be leading the Lean/CI process efficiencies using various lean tools (Kaizen, DFMEA, 8D, DFM, Six Sigma) within the motor controller, inverter, PCB space to impact change.
