We are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our growing team, with strong expertise in Romanian taxation rules, regulations and best practices customized to the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily general ledger accounting and ensure accurate bookkeeping;
• Manage daily operations and master data maintenance in SAP FI module;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes) in accordance with accounting standards;
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT and annual corporate income tax;
• Monitor compliance with Romanian tax legislation and assess regulatory changes;
• Support and coordinate annual audits and tax inspections;
• Liaise with tax authorities and internal stakeholders;

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Financial Management is preferred;
• Advanced to proficient command of English;
• At least or more than 5 years experience in a financial/tax role within manufacturing industry;
• Strong knowledge of Romanian tax laws and regulations;
• Proficient in bookkeeping rules and financial statement preparation;
• Familiar with tax calculation rules and compliance requirements;
• Experience working with SAP FI (General Ledger module);
• Good command of MSOffice and other digital tools for financial recordings and reporting;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and prevent compliance risks;
• Familiarity with specific trade rules applied to Asian markets are welcomed;
