You support our team as Finance Professional with German

Responsibilities

• Enters, checks and posts incoming invoices in SAP MM/FI (using electronic workflows);
• Account reconciliation and account clarification (incl. WERE account reconciliation);
• Preparation and execution of timely payment runs;
• Execution of intercompany (IC) netting and reconciliation of IC balances;
• Contact with suppliers and processing of reminders;
• Participates in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities and records intercompany accounting in the Accounts payable sub-ledger;
• Performs checking and accounting travel expense reports (SAP Concur experience is desirable);
• Review, account assignment, and posting of bank statements in our ERP system;
• Clarification of payment differences and monitoring in collaboration with external customers;
• Cash pool reconciliation including posting of cash pool interest;
• Receivables management (dunning process, etc.) in collaboration with external customers;
• Period-end closing activities in accounts receivable and other affiliated procedures before moth closing (sending balance lists and aging reports);
• Confirmation of account balance between the entities for audit purpose.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics/Accounting;
• Several years of professional experience in similar position or in a related function in a professional environment (shared services desirable);
• Good MS Office skills and SAP R3 (modules FI, MM);
• Fluency in German and English (spoken and written);
• Strong customer service orientation;
• Reliability, willingness to work in a team, initiative and commitment
• Effective time and self-management;
• Analytical, structured way of working and high problem-solving ability;
• Curiosity and understanding for innovations in the field of IT.
