VARTA Microbattery is looking for a dedicated Plant Controller to join our Finance team in Brasov. If you are passionate about manufacturing processes, SAP, and driving profitability through data-driven decisions, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Steering & Reporting:

• Support steering activities for production costs (Direct Labor, Material, Overhead) and track KPIs.
• Analyze P&L at cost center level to ensure margin transparency and corrective actions.
• Track budget adherence and analyze variances for plant operations.

Operational Excellence & SAP:

• Monitor production routings in SAP and collaborate with the technical department for updates.
• Monitor Balance Sheet indicators: Inventories, AR, and AP.
• Support inter-company transfer pricing and oversee state aid projects.

Strategic Business Partnering:

• Evaluate continuous improvement initiatives based on profitability calculations.
• Lead the yearly budget process for cost centers.
• Act as a key consultant for the Management team in strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics or Business Administration.
• Min. 3 years of experience in Plant Controlling / Manufacturing Finance.
• Advanced SAP skills (R3 or S4 HANA).
• Proficiency in English (advanced level).
• Advanced MS Office (Power BI / Qlik / Cognos are a strong plus).
