ELECTRICIANS & ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANS – MULTIPLE PROJECTS IN THE NETHERLANDS

Introduction

PrimeTech is continuously looking for experienced Electricians, Electrical Technicians and Electromechanical Technicians for various technical projects throughout the Netherlands.

Depending on your experience, technical knowledge and preferences, we can match your profile with a project that best suits your background.

You do not need experience in all the areas mentioned below. We are interested in understanding what you specialise in and finding the right project accordingly.

What kind of projects do we offer?

We regularly recruit technical professionals for positions such as:

⚡ Industrial & E&I Electricians

Projects within industrial, petrochemical and Oil & Gas environments.

Activities may include electrical and instrumentation installation, cable pulling, cable tray installation, glanding and termination, connecting junction boxes and field equipment, reading electrical drawings and troubleshooting.

🔧 Maintenance / Service Technicians

Long-term positions within production and manufacturing environments.

We are looking for technicians with a combination of electrical and mechanical knowledge who can perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose machine breakdowns, work with sensors and motors, read PLC error messages and troubleshoot production machinery.

🔌 Panel Builders / Control Panel Electricians

Workshop-based positions involving the construction and wiring of electrical control panels, distribution cabinets and industrial automation panels.

Activities include mounting electrical components, preparing and connecting wiring, working independently from electrical schematics and testing completed panels.

⚓ Shipbuilding / Marine Electricians

Electrical projects within shipyards, luxury yachts, superyachts and marine vessels.

Activities can include cable installation, cable trays, electrical panels, lighting, power and control systems, equipment connections, testing and troubleshooting.

🏗️ Building Services / Residential Electricians

Electrical installation projects within residential, commercial and utility environments.

Activities can include installing electrical systems, cabling, distribution boards, lighting, sockets and other electrical installations according to drawings and technical specifications.

Depending on the position and project, we offer:

• €600 – €900 net per week based on 40 hours
• The exact salary depends on the position, project, technical experience, qualifications and level of independence

What are we looking for?

Because we recruit for different electrical disciplines, the exact requirements depend on the project.

In general, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Professional experience as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Maintenance Technician, E&I Electrician, Panel Builder, Marine Electrician or similar technical professional
• Relevant electrical and/or electromechanical experience
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics or technical documentation relevant to your discipline
• Good technical and problem-solving skills
• Good working proficiency in English
• Valid Category B driving licence preferred
• Relevant technical education or qualifications
• EU/EEA passport or existing right to work in the Netherlands
• Willingness to work under a Dutch employment contract – no ZZP/freelance

Depending on the project, certificates such as VCA, NEN 3140, ATEX or other relevant technical certifications may be required or considered an advantage(We offer them to you should you be willing to obtain them ).

Your experience determines your project

You don't need to be an E&I Electrician, Panel Builder, Maintenance Technician and Shipbuilding Electrician all at once.

Perhaps you have spent years building and wiring control panels.

Perhaps your strength is troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery.

Maybe you have worked on petrochemical or Oil & Gas installations and specialised in E&I.

Or perhaps your experience comes from shipyards, residential or commercial electrical installations.
