Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the development, coordination and delivery of electrical systems designs for industrial and logistics projects. The role focuses on creating accurate 2D and 3D electrical models, ensuring compliance with Romanian and European standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing efficient, cost-effective solutions tailored to client requirements.

Job Description

·        Create electrical systems according to client requirements and expectations, proposing efficient solutions in terms of cost and consumption.

·        Review project specifications to determine design requirements.

·        Meet with clients or consultants to clarify design needs.

·        Define the basic electrical system design using Revit or AutoCAD to produce 3D models or 2D drawings, integrating all related equipment, connections and control units.

·        Create single-line diagrams using EcoStruxure Power Design.

·        Coordinate medium voltage and BMS designers when required.

·        Create, verify and validate all Material Approval Forms.

·        Address questions or resolve issues arising during conception, design and installation related to the electrical design.

·        Coordinate with architectural, structural and mechanical design teams.

·        Prepare reports, equipment schedules and specifications.

·        Prepare schematics, layouts and detailed drawings according to design requirements.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems design.

·        Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

·        Modelling skills for electrical plant design, panel cabling and detailing.

·        Experience in multidisciplinary coordination.

·        Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems, including Revit and AutoCAD.

·        Strong understanding of electrical systems.

·        Knowledge of Romanian and European norms and regulations.

·        Knowledge of existing electrical systems and equipment.

·        Ability to propose innovative solutions.

·        Ability to conduct client meetings and deliver timely, comprehensive responses.

·        Extra low voltage design diploma (mandatory).

·        PV panel design or multiline diagram schematic design experience is a plus.

·        Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

·        Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Experience designing low voltage and extra low voltage systems for industrial and logistics buildings (mandatory).
