Desktop Support Technician
What you’ll do:
You will be supporting the 80+ staff on site in our office with all matters hardware/software/networks and security related, working on a global ticketing system to assist your colleagues in this office and on other remote sites as quickly as possible. You’ll be imaging new workstations and system rebuilds; supporting and troubleshooting to the component level of all workstation/laptop hardware; identifying and successfully removing viruses, malware, and spyware; performing operating system and/or application rollouts, and looking after business office equipment including phone system setup and support. You will also help with basic Network connectivity support and office Security system, RFID card access system and AV systems, as well as handling hardware and software procurement and end of life equipment recycling under the direction of your local manager.
Who you are:
You’re degree educated with at least two, typically four years of experience in computer support, possessing excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and are fluent in English. You love solving problems and can work in a high paced environment. You’ve worked in a business environment and had exposure to Help Desk Support, data communications/networks, and application environments (servers, work group, and desktop) including giving workstation support. You’re experienced with Windows operating systems, Apple MAC and iOS, Microsoft O365 and other Microsoft back office suites and have knowledge of IT Ticketing systems
