Coordinating information between departments, including engineering, purchasing, and construction for projects
Computing cost factors and trends for use in planning, organizing and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.

Required Knowledge and Experience
Degree in civil engineering or a diploma in construction technology
Cost engineer at least 4 years, minimum 2 completed projects or contract engineer at least 3-4 years;
Minimum five years of experience in construction;
English language – medium level
MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project knowledge.
Cost / Commercial Engineers must understand competitive costs and define proper scope and tendering and contracting strategies for the construction projects.
