Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee industrial and commercial construction projects from initiation through completion. The role requires strong project planning, stakeholder coordination, site management, risk control, and cost oversight. Daily commute or relocation to the project site (70–100 km from Bucharest) is required.

Job Description

• Manage diverse construction projects from early stages through final delivery.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure effective communication.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support efficient teamwork.

• Plan project activities, including scheduling, deliverable tracking, and cost estimation.

• Manage scope and schedule changes proactively to minimize disruptions.

• Ensure compliance with construction codes, safety rules, and legal requirements.

• Maintain strong focus on safety at all project locations and enforce safety standards.

• Monitor and report on contractual performance to ensure obligations are met.

• Review daily progress and adjust plans as needed to maintain schedule.

• Prepare internal and external project reports and provide clear status updates.

• Identify, assess, and manage risks to secure successful project outcomes.

• Ensure adherence to construction quality standards through a structured quality control program.

• Monitor project costs and take measures to optimize expenses while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• University degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience in Romania.

• Previous experience working on large industrial or commercial projects.

• Proficiency with project management tools, especially MS Project.

• Minimum B1 level of English, spoken and written.

• Strong MS Office skills.

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated integrity, teamwork, and accountability.

• Availability and willingness to travel and relocate near project sites.
