To complete our Global Supply Chain Management team based in Moutier, Switzerland we are seeking an experienced Buyer (m/f):

Your responsibilities

• Ensures on time supplies and services procurement
• Analyses and researches for new suppliers, negotiates purchase agreements, as well as the treatments of non-compliance claims; supplies or services failures
• Leads new product implementation process for sourcing
• Proceeds as per the procedures and established guidelines
• Manages and follows the allocated providers, participates in ISO 9001 audits, launches and follows corrective actions
• Negociates new purchase agreements
• In charge of business data as well as pricing policies with suppliers
• Ensures timely delivery and product quality

Your profile

• Technical & commercial training
• Wide-ranging business experience and good knowledge of the products to be purchased
• Machine tool industry experience
• Fluent in English and French
• Strong SAP knowledge an asset
• Good analytical skills, structured working habit
• Strong negotiation and organization skills
