For our Data, Insights & Analytics team in Bucharest, we are therefore looking for a Junior Data Analyst.

The Data Analyst will manage business and ad hoc requirements through data products and analytics solutions. This role involves functional design, product testing, and leveraging business modelling and situation analysis to drive improvements and efficiencies.

Key accountability is to contribute to data science strategy, analysis, and reporting, integrating different data sources and being able to translate business requirements into technical language.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain business models to represent processes, roles, data, and organizational structures. Use these models to communicate insights and propose scenarios for improvement.

Investigate business situations to identify problems and opportunities. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend actionable improvements.

Gather, document, and manage business and ad hoc requirements. Ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.

Help implement data products and analytics solutions to support business decision-making.

Create functional specifications and design documents for new systems and enhancements.

Collaborate with Data Analysts to ensure business models are based on robust data analysis.

Develop and execute test plans to ensure product quality and functionality. Identify and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams.

Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback.

Required Skills:

Skilled in investigating business situations, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending improvements.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data products and analytics solutions.

Experience with data visualization tools to present business models and insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering actionable insights.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

>1 year experience (junior level) with Business Analytics/Intelligence, Data Analytics or a similar role

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Financial Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics

Hands on experience in SQL, Python, databases, data structures and data visualization techniques and tools, such as Power BI

Good EXCEL and Power Point knowledge

Fluency in English is a must
