For our Division in Poland we are looking for a Business Development Manager. Cosma Casting Poland (CCPL) specializes in high pressure die-casting that designs and builds medium to large aluminum die-cast automotive components. ##### Job Introduction The Business Development (BD) Manager is responsible to set the strategic direction of the divisional commercial departments in accordance with the Management Team and the General Manager using a strong entrepreneurial spirit. The BD Manager directs and manages all aspects of the Divisions New Business activities, including but not limited to Sales and Marketing, Capital Approval, Customer Service, Quoting, and all negotiations with Customers. The BD Manager insures that division meets all New Business targets as agreed with the General Manager and Group Office. The BD Manager is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met. ##### Major Responsibilities * With the management team, the BD Manger assures that the Division's business plan goals and objectives are met, as agreed with the General Manager. * Conducts and coordinates financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic business planning and quoting. * Assures that all the Division's goals for new customer projects are met and escalate deviations to the General Manager. * Performs specified data analysis and studies as requested, and develops and presents ad hoc reports in support of various initiatives, both external and internal. * Manages interface to Cosma Group Office related to new business quote capital approval and processes request in accordance to Cosma Standards. * Maintains and manages quote models and associated customer assumptions. * Prepares and participates in the Quarterly Review with Cosma. * Supports manufacturing regarding all aspects of the commercial side of the business (SQA, Material, Engineer, etc.) * Works closely with Engineering and Sales to secure profitable new business for the Division and being indispensable to our customer. * Supports the organization with data and data analysis. * Continuously strengthens all systems to strive for excellence regarding all aspects of the business. * Maintains database of: quote models, customer documentation and associated assumptions. * Assures compliance with all rules and regulations. * Performs other duties as required. ##### Knowledge and Education * Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business or Engineering related field. * Strong background in financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting. * Strong background in information technology. ##### Work Experience * 5 plus years experience in Automotive Manufacturing. * Experience with Commercial Negotiations. * Preferable managerial experience. ##### Skills and Competencies * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Polish and English both spoken and written, German will be an advantage. * Able to read, interpret and analyze Financial Statements. * Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. * Excellent analytical skills. * Able to provide results oriented environment and set high standard for self and department. * Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, team members, suppliers and customers. * Able to work efficiently in a high demand environment. * Excellent record keeping skills. * Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact. * Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Honest with high integrity. * Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive Team Member relations. * Able to provide excellent leadership example, able to coach, motivate and build self-confidence within work. ##### Work Environment * Frequent International Business Travel can be expected. Candidate must poses a valid passport and immigration documents for North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. * Primarily office and includes manufacturing plant; plant floor characterized by temperature extremes, loud noise and considerable tow motor traffic. * The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings and with Team Members, management, customers and suppliers. * Ensures timely, accurate and complete communication to create and maintain excellent working relations. * Flexible and additional hours as required. * Driver's license is required. # *Group:* Cosma International *Division:* NTP *State/Province/County:* Opolskie *City:* Kędzierzyn-Koźle *Job Type:* Regular
