Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of automation and control systems (PLC, sensors, actuators);
• Support and execute maintenance activities on automated production lines and equipment;
• Assist in PLC diagnostics and minor program adjustments (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff);
• Work directly on machines: wiring checks, component replacement, signal verification;
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels and control circuits;
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of automation equipment;
• Identify faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions;
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime;
• Ensure proper documentation of interventions and maintenance activities;
• Respect safety procedures when working with industrial automation systems.

Requirements:

• Technical education in Electronics, Automation, Electrical, or similar;
• Experience in a production / industrial environment;
• Hands-on approach and strong troubleshooting skills;
• Good knowledge of industrial automation systems;
• Practical experience with PLC troubleshooting (not necessarily advanced programming);
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic components (sensors, relays, drives);
• Experience working with control panels and industrial wiring;
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics;
• Basic English or German;
• Availability to work in shifts (if required);
• Willingness to travel for initial training at the beginning of the project, prior to equipment installation on-site.
