API and Database specialist

For two start-up company’s in Belgium we’re looking for an ambitious person with a hands-on mentality. If the clients grows, so do you, hopefully eventually managing your own IT team in the future.

You’re job mainly focusses on creating databases and setting up a reporting environment, but will not be limited by it. There will be challenging ad hoc projects, feeding your need to grow and learn. You’ll be in contact with the business in Belgium on a regular, almost daily basis, following up on the running projects. 

To get it’s IT department started, our clients are looking for the following skills :

• creating, managing and maintaining several API’s ;
• creating, managing and maintaining a datawarehouse (hardware and software) ;
• knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a great surplus ;
• provide technical support to the business ;
• working closely together with the business ;
• analytical mindset
• testing new technology ;
• a technical, logical thought process ;
• problem solving with a curious mindset ;
• the ability to stick to strict deadlines ;
• the ability to prioritise and delegate ;
• a keen eye for detail ;
• clear and consice communicator ;
• english speaking and writing skills ;
