I provided court legal representation to eight of the Romanian Banks in the lawsuits they are involved in. At the same time I was part of the legal team that revised the ownership deeds of the properties Alpha Bank was going to mortgage, folowing the approval of the customers’ credit requests.
I represented the bank in front of Romanian courts in all sorts of lawsuits it is involved in, managing more than 100 files. My daily tasks also included providing legal opinions related to litigation risks attached to bank’s products and internal decisions.
I provided legal advice concerning credit transactions concluded by the financial institution. In this regard I revised different agreements or acts concluded by the institution, kept close contact with he public notary, authorized translators and public authorities regarding legal issues with which the institution was involved. Drafting the credit contracts was another task that I was in charge of while working for Adwisers.
I represented the bank in front of Romanian Courts in all types of lawsuits it was involved in. I also monitored the lawsuits that were administered by law houses, keeping close contact with the aforementioned as far as file strategy was concerned. I was involved in the files initiated by National Association of Consumer Protection against the bank with impact on the entire credit portfolio of the institution.
Furthermore, I was in charge of developing the internal application of lawsuits management and I was the reporting officer of the department in relation with board members, National Bank of Romania and other institutions that require data about law-cases, provisions and sums attached to the law-cases in which the bank was part.
I represented the bank in front of Romanian Courts, especially consumer protection lawsuits, having one of the best success rates in the department. I was involved in the three files initiated by National Association of Consumer Protection against the bank with impact on the entire credit portfolio of the institution. Overall, I represented the bank in court at more thahearings.
While working at the retail credit department I had to ensure that the agreements and transactions concluded by the bank were set within the existing law framework and other incident regulations. In this regard I provided legal assistance to the Bucharest branches’ employees according to the bank’s credit approval procedures. At the same time I was in charge of preparing legal opinions related to the redrafting of bank’s internal procedures when their compelling modification due to the change in the regulatory field required mandatory input from the legal department. On the basis of the empowerment issued by the bank I represented its interests in the pre-trial negotiations with its customers, trying to avoid the emergence of new lawsuits. From the administrative point of view of the position held, I was in charge of daily task assignment to all my colleagues in the department.
As a member of the litigation department, I have started the development of the Bank's EU law strategy applied throughout the country in the consumers' protection lawsuits and represented the bank in lawsuits throughout the country. While at Craiova, I was in charge of representing the bank in front of the local courthouses in more than 500 lawsuits.
I primarily worked in the field of forced execution and bankruptcy proceedings, my work being mostly related to the garnishments the bank received for its clients.
I had to provide specific advice regarding the bank's credit cards to potential customers. I held the record in the country of 211 approved credit card applications in one month (Card Avantaj).
I anchored a live news programme in a television studio, I presented my own show twice a week and I also worked as a reporter on the field. Moreover, for the last two months that I was the editor-in-chief's assistant, I coordinated all the camera operators, reporters and drivers, too.
