• Delivering lively and engaging lessons to develop students' accuracy, fluency, and confidence.
• Motivating and challenging students through stimulating learning experiences.
• Developing and implementing high-quality learning experiences with a conceptual focus.
• Inspiring trust and confidence in students, parents, and colleagues.
• Promoting the wider aspirations and values of Avenor College.

We seek candidates with:

• A relevant degree (e.g., BA in English) and English language teaching experience.
• The ability to design and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
• Experience in motivating and challenging students.
• Capability to offer professional development to colleagues.

Desirable qualifications include:

• MA in English or Linguistic Studies.
• Experience with Cambridge English teaching and AS/A-Level English Literature.
• CELTA, CELT YL, or Trinity TESOL certification.
• International school experience.
