👷 We’re Hiring: On-site Health & Safety Officer

📍 Location: Iasi, Iasi County

At Safety Approach, we are growing and looking for a proactive On-site Health & Safety Officer to join our team on projects based in Iasi County. This is an on-site role where you will work directly on construction sites, side by side with experienced colleagues, learning how things really work in practice.

You will help ensure legal compliance, support safer work environments, and gradually build confidence and solid professional experience in Health & Safety.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

In this role, you will actively support our clients in meeting legal requirements and fostering a strong safety culture on site. You will be practical, collaborative, and involved in continuous safety improvements.

You will:

Perform daily on-site inspections, supporting risk assessments and identifying appropriate control measures, with guidance when required.

Support site audits and incident investigations.

Assist in developing and updating Health & Safety plans and procedures.

Support the delivery of Health & Safety and Fire Safety training programs.

Ensure compliance with local and national Health & Safety regulations.

Participate in maintaining ISO management systems.

Monitor the effectiveness of H&S policies and propose improvements.

Travel across construction sites within Iasi County.

Participate in meetings with clients and project stakeholders.

Actively promote environmental protection and sustainable practices within safety processes.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a solid technical foundation and a strong commitment to learning, development, and continuous improvement in Health & Safety.

The ideal candidate has:

A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Forestry, or similar).

Completion of the 80h or 120h Occupational Health & Safety training course.

Completion of the 136h Technical Staff with fire safety and firefighting responsibilities certification (Fire Marshal / Fire Warden equivalent).

Up to 1–2 years of experience in a safety-related role, internships, or relevant practical experience.

A Category B driving license and availability to travel as required.

Good written and spoken English skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard reporting tools.
