Join our team as a Data Center Engineer and play a crucial role in maintaining the operations of our critical infrastructure site in Narvik, Norway. We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional with a strong background in data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site support to ensure stable operation of all hardware and environmental systems.
• Install, rack, stack, cable, and configure server and network hardware.
• Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshoot servers, switches, and related equipment.
• Monitor environmental conditions and escalate issues as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and update asset inventory.
• Support remote engineering teams by acting as hands, eyes, and ears onsite.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including change logs and incident reports.
• Comply with health & safety procedures and site access requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–4+ years of experience in a data center or infrastructure support environment.
• Proven ability to manage cabling standards and handle hardware safely.
• Familiarity with server architectures and network devices.
• Strong understanding of power distribution and cooling concepts.
• Ability to read technical documentation and site schematics.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Valid right to work in Norway or eligibility to obtain a work permit.
