AI Video Editor - Infomercial / VSL / Performance Ads - Generative AI

Role Summary
We’re hiring a Direct Response Video Editor to create high-converting VSLs / infomercials / performance video ads for multiple brands (e-commerce + digital products). You will edit long-form and short-form video creatives and use generative AI tools where they improve speed/quality (b-roll, visual assets, cleanup, background replacement, VO workflows, motion assets)—while keeping everything credible, premium, and compliant.
What You’ll Produce
•Long-form: VSLs / infomercials (typically 8–25 minutes)
•Short-form: 15–60s ad variants for Meta/TikTok/YouTube
•Cutdowns, new hooks, angle variants, and iteration cycles based on performance feedback
•Optional: product/promo videos, landing page hero videos
Responsibilities
•Turn scripts + voiceover + briefs into complete VSLs/infomercials with strong pacing and retention
•Create and iterate batches of short ads (hooks, openers, CTAs, formats) optimized for mobile
•Source and integrate visuals: stock footage, custom motion graphics, AI-generated assets (when appropriate)
•Build premium on-screen text, captions, headlines, callouts, and simple charts
•Add sound design, music, transitions, and “pattern interrupts” without making it feel spammy
•Maintain organized project files, versioning, and an efficient production pipeline
•Collaborate with marketing (media buyers/copywriters) to test angles and improve conversion
Requirements (Must-Have)
•2+ years video editing experience with direct response / performance marketing output
•Strong portfolio (VSL/infomercial OR performance ads) — links required
•Proficiency in Premiere + After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve
•Ability to edit for retention: hook quality, pacing, structure, clarity, mobile-first text
•Comfortable using AI tools in a professional workflow (examples of how you use them)
•Reliable execution: deadlines, feedback loops, clean file organization
Nice-to-Have
•Experience with UGC-style ads and converting raw iPhone footage into high-performing creatives
•Basic motion graphics systems (lower thirds, brand kit, reusable templates)
•Familiarity with platform constraints (Meta/TikTok/YouTube) and ad compliance sensitivity
•English + Romanian editing capability (one is OK; both is a plus)
