Our client, an Outsider in the drink industry, is recruiting a Sales Manager On Trade in Switzerland:
We are looking for an ambitious, outgoing, and self-assured person to sell beverage product into quality retail and on trade outlets in Switzerland.
The objective is to develop their ambitious growth plans, both in Switzerland and abroad.
In this role, you will hire, lead and train the sales team to become ambassadors of their brand.
The Head of Sales will report directly and work closely with the founding partners.
-Consistently hires top sales talent and blend individuals to truly form a world-class, high-performing team.
-Has a training plan of continuing education for the sales team to constantly improve knowledge base on his market/network.
-Actively seeks to collaborate with the Production and Marketing teams in new product development, with an aim to create exciting consumer experiences and new sales opportunities.
-Maintains positive environment beyond his team, and actively coordinates with production/warehouse teams to escalate any issues, and find possible solutions.
-The Sales Manager devises strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the company's sales targets.
-He/she will conduct regular performance reviews to identify and help non-performing sales reps.
-Pro-actively discusses performance issues and possible solutions with his management.
-The Sales Manager will also seek to identify potential long-term strategic partners for his company, and will use his/her networking and negotiation skills to establishing those relationships.
-He will be the main point of contact for our product's distributors and customers.
-Experience in the drinks industry: Participation in developing a new brand into the market
-Management skills: This position requires good time management, creativity, communication, troubleshooting, teamwork, project management and people skills
-Business orientation and strategy
-Yield management: Focus on margin and long-term potential rather than short-term box-shifting is a must
-Communication skills (Interpersonal, teamwork, presentation, positive attitude)
-Negotiation and opportunity development skills
-A strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task
-Flexibility in time management
-Sense of humour and boldness.
-French, Swiss German and English speaking is a must
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the drinks industry, and in the On-Trade market in particular
-University Degree in a related field (Business, Science or Engineering) or equivalent
-International and/or bar work experiences are a plus
-Driving mobility and enjoying the great outdoors.
