-Execute client support global strategy to provide IT desktop coverage and support to all Panduit personnel. Identify customer needs and work within defined client team processes to support and improve user productivity and IT response times.
-Configure & deploy all end user hardware systems required for employee or production purposes (desktops, laptops, phones, printers, plotters, thin clients, hand-held units, WiFi devices, scales, etc.), including imaging desktops or reinstalling OS images when required.
-Install & configure all necessary client applications running on Panduit desktops. Work with level III client team members to improve software deployments by developing and testing application deployment methodologies to reduce time to install and configure software.
-Maintain and explore process improvements to existing hardware & software standards. Develop process and supporting documentation to simplify PC deployments for level I client support staff.
-Physical & logical administration of systems as required by other IT personnel such as network, server, storage, or physical infrastructure moves, adds, or changes (ex: switches, WAP’s, routers, firewalls, servers, etc.)
-Evaluate, approve, and procure new hardware and software requests
- advanced spoken and written English-mandatory
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related field-mandatory
- more than 2 years of experience in the field
- experience working with a global company is a plus.
- excellent communication and customer facing skills-preffered
- various Microsoft certifications-preffered
