Skills Provision is excited to announce an opportunity for a Executive Chef with demonstrable expertise in Japanese cuisine. This position is in Vienna, Austria. Our client is a highly regarded hospitality investment company, which excels in producing high quality food and service. It is imperative that any applicant has a strong background in traditional Japanese style cuisine. Our client is looking for a chef to join them ideally in November 2016.
€to €per annum.
8 working hours per day.
5 days on 2 days off.
Preparation of different fishes and rolls that would be found in a Sushi restaurant.
Preparation of various rices, sauces and use of ingredients.
Preparation of Japanese cuisine in all different sections; sushi, hot kitchen and robata.
Creating and delivering exciting menus and dishes of the highest quality. Below is an example of the restaurants top dishes:
Tempuras: Popcorn Shrimp.
Rice Dishes: Truffle Fried Rice.
Noodles: all kinds.
Salads: Duck Salad.
Robata: Black Cod or Kobe Beef.
Dum Sum: Sio Mai or Siopao Dumplings.
Management of additional chefs and other kitchen staff (there are around 40 team members within the restaurant).
Run a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
Work alongside the general manager of the restaurant to ensure smooth day to day operations.
Over 18 years of experience
Minimum of 3 years as an Executive/Head Japanese chef.
Experience working in reputable Japanese restaurants . Nobu, Zuma, Novikov.
English and German speaking will be essential.
Strong leadership skills.
Creative approach to cuisine.
