Our teams of developers, designers and product people based in Romania are the best in the market and also the happiest! We embed ourselves in clients’ teams and processes; this often means physically being with our clients on-site. This is part of our core offering. One of our two British founders’ lives in Romania with the other in London where we have a Client Services office. We really are cross border.

In order to sustain our growth, we are looking for two key team members with awesome communication skills, unparalleled drive and persona and skill-sets that we can adopt, build on and integrate into Squid40. We do not hire specific people, we hire mind-sets with wide and varied skills.
This role is paramount to the success of the business and is involved with all parts of the current business structure. Squid40 has built a strong cultural DNA and solutions offering which allows us to engage the very best product, design and developers in Romania. We have the saplings of an employer brand, we understand EVP and EX and we have built a community offering which allows us to reach out and engage to some of the brightest super-stars in Romania.
This superstar will be responsible for leading and developing the Squid40 Employer brand and everything within, all aspects of community and outreach programmes Squid40 runs including Hackathons, Boot-camps and entry to what we call our ‘Sand boxes’ where the very best talent ends up! Overseeing all People operations is also a significant part of the role. We are re-defining near-shore solutions and stellar teams are at the core – this is the leading part!
