Who we are

Trans Nova Impex SRL is a transport and forwarding company with a professional staff of more than 17 years of experience in the transport field, being formed in 1998.

Having a team of 30 people, fluently speaking English, French, German, Italian and Spanish (Romanian being our main language), we offer to all customers the same personal attention, no matter if it is a big company or a small one:

• following the loads from the loading up to the unloading place;
• daily information on status of trucks (upon request, 2 times per day, also);

Destinations we cover

Company’s database is made of customers demanding the best professional transport services, at the highest quality levels.

Our main destinations for international road transportation are mainly within West Europe (UK, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Poland and Spain), but also the Balkans area (Bulgaria, Greece) and former Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro).

On domestic road transportation we cover all areas in Romania: Alba, Arad, Arges, Bacau,
Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Botosani, Braila, Brasov, Bucuresti, Buzau, Calarasi, Caras-Severin, Cluj, Constanta, Covasna, Dambovita, Dolj, Galati, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomita, Iasi, Ilfov, Maramures, Mehedinti, Mures, Neamt, Olt, Prahova, Salaj, Satu-Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timis, Tulcea, Valcea, Vaslui, Vrancea.
Additional to the road transportation, we can also offer transport by air and by sea.

Our fleet

Our own fleet is of 20 trucks of 24 tons (13.60*2.48*2.75mH) which are working on contract for transports within European Union (Austria, Italy, Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands) and on our local domestic market.The trucks that we have at our disposal (more than 200) are subcontracted from our partnercarriers (each of them having a small fleet, from 5 to 20 trucks), based on a long-term professional relationship, special communication and the best results that we could have in the transport and logistics field.

This way, we can offer to our customers trucks in different areas of Europe and several kind of trucks, from small vans (1.5 tons, 4.00*1.80*1.80mH), to avia (3.2 tons, 6.20*2.40*2.50mH) and to big trucks (24 tons, 13.60*2.48*2.75mH).

We can offer both taut-liners as well as normal or refrigerated box-trucks. Part of taut-liners (20%) are also ADR equipped. Refrigerated-trucks (12% of our fleet) can load only on exclusivity / FTL and are with both plus and/ or minus temperature degrees; each trucks is equipped with minimum 4-5 fixing bars.

Upon request, taut-liners can have from 32 aluminum side-bars or 80-100cm high metal
shutters to 48 wooden side-bars (on trucks on 2.75mH) or 56 wooden side-bars (on trucks of 2.85mH or 3.00mH). All trucks are equipped with 250 dan fixing belts (20 pcs on big trucks, which also have edge protectors and anti-slippers 800*800).

Normal goods are carried by standard taut-liners or box-trucks, pending on the way goods are packed and the way they are loaded (from the top, by crane, from the side and/ or from the back of the truck).

We can transport ADR goods in accordance with our ADR Certificate (classand 9).

For ADR transports, all the trucks are specially equipped, wearing distinctive identification, ie orange reflective plates stating that dangerous goods are transported. The driver has, as legislation requires, the full ADR kit that contains: fluorescence-reflective vest, glasses, gloves, protection boots, gas mask, helmet, portable flashlight. Also, for safety, vehicles are equipped with two fire extinguishers, one in the cabin of the driver and the second one in trailer of the truck. All ADR trucks have also the two emergency triangles so that, in case of need, to be placed at the front and back of
the truck to settle the damaged area.

For normal or ADR goods, we can offer both FTL (full truck load) or LTL (less than truck
load). For the FTL loads, our pre-advice time for loading is of 2 working days, meanwhile the preadvice time for loading on LTL loads is of 3-4 working days.
As transit time, for FTL trucks this is of 3 to 5 days and for LTL trucks transit time is of 5 to 7 days (holidays / driving restrictions are not included).

Refrigerated goods we transport are frozen or thermo-isolated, having the according
temperatures: plus or minus, as per the nature of the goods. We transport food, fruits, vegetables and also flowers, plants and, sometimes, medical drugs.
We can offer only full truck loads on refrigerated/ thermo goods, with short transit-times (of 3 days, for example from The Netherlands to Romania/ Bucharest area). Pre-advice for loading on this kind of goods is of 4 working days.

Oversized transports can carry machineries or any other objects/ goods having oversize (in length, width or high) or overweight (heavy goods).

We can offer you this type of transport at domestic and also on international level.
Previous to offer our price and possibility for oversized/ overweight transports, all necessary transit routes will be studied so that to obtain an optimal route for developing the transport. Final transport price is given taking in consideration all the additional services required to carry oversized shipments, including:
• obtaining special permits;
• transport projects;
• studies of the route;
• authorized civil escorts;
• police escorts.

Pre-advice for loading and transit-time will be also given upon each request, this kind of
information being different in accordance with goods details, routes to be taken, necessary term to obtain the special transport permits depending on destination for delivery and validity of the trailers (5 pcs, of which 2 are extendible)

All road transports are done under CMR / TIR Convention.

We have a forwarding insurance of€ur and additionally, each truck has its own CMR Insurance from€ur (small vans) t€ur (avia) and minimum€ur (24t/ big trucks). If value of goods is a high one, we can do a supplementary insurance (upon customer’s request) for an additional cost, so that full amount of goods to be covered.

Warehousing

We can offer 800 square meters indoor and more than 2000 square meters outdoor. Our
warehouse is located in districted 6 of Bucharest, close to the entrance from the highway Bucharest – Pitesti. Location has 24/24 hrs video surveillance and guard security.
We can deposit indoor normal goods, packed on boxes or on pallets. All pieces get a code of
bars, so that to easier follow up the entrances and exits of the goods. Outdoor can be stocked all kind of goods that can not be damaged due to rain, snow, sun, etc (ie containers).
We can offer full reports (take-in, take-out, number of deposited pallets, stocks) and track & trace for all deliveries.

Air freight

Due to the sensitivity and time pressures involved in airfreight service, the plan is to meet the customers specific requirements. Airfreight services are perfect for the goods that make the subject of sensitive time delivery and deadlines. Our teams of air freight professionals follow through on each and every shipment and our customers can be assured of real-time status reports on all import and export air freight shipments at all times.

Our company also provides ocean freight services and our department is specialized in FCL, LCL, Break-Bulk and Project Cargo. Our ocean freight services provide our customer economical alternatives to other, more costly modes of transportation and cover shipments from port-to-port and the complete door-to-door supply chain solution.
Over the years, we have developed a strong business relationship with some of the major
international and regional ocean carriers.

Our sea forwarding freight services include:
• FCL and LCL import and export;
• Issuance and verification of shipping documentation;
• Export and import customs clearance;
• Warehousing;
• Conventional shipments (break-bulk, dry & liquid bulk);
• Sea/Air transportation;
• Sea/Road and Sea/Rail Intermodal Services.

Our company can offer, on request, for air and sea transportation, customs formalities on
